Travel

One thing led to another and before you know it, I was going gone four days longer than I meant to be, but it was worth it. Before I jump right back into the usual, I thought I’d share a few photos from our mini road-trip.

sip coffee bar

We basically tasted every available coffee between Houston & San Antonio.

hotel valencia

Stayed at this exceptionally pretty hotel on the riverwalk.

heart in the city window

Walked everywhere, which was full of pretty surprises, like looking up to see this heart in the window.

polka dot anthropologie bag

Bought a few cute things.

dinner on the riverwalk boudro's san antonio

And we ate almost ninety percent of the time we were gone, like this riverwalk dinner at Boudro’s with an unexpected dinner guest. All in all, it was a fantastic getaway, and it’s really amazing how forcing yourself to take a break from everything can make you feel like a new person. Did you anything exciting as a spring getaway?

spring break vacation to italy

It’s officially spring break around here! Technically we have two more weeks to wait since Seth’s school is quarterly, but that’s neither here nor there. Actually, this week I’ve done the exact opposite of spring break activities. I’ve unpacked the last few moving boxes, organized craft supplies, worked, worked a little more, cleaned, and scoured through Goodwill trying to find something I accidentally donated last week (dead serious). All these things considered, I’ve still taken the time to sketch up my little   dream spring break to Italy. (We’re headed to San Antonio, it’s no Italy, but a girl can dream, right?)
